KMParts to offer Moeller Electric Motor Starters with Tool-less Plug Connection

Wood Dale, IL, October, 19, 2005 - The unique tool-less connection from Moeller allows reliable motor starters up to 12A to be assembled from standard components without the need for tools!

The motor-starter comprises a Moeller Electric PKZM0 motor-protective circuit-breaker and Moeller Electric DILM contactor. Both devices are mechanically interlocked via a plug-in element. The electrical connection is provided by a plug-in contact element, which utilizes the unique tool-less plug connection technology. One single top-hat rail is all that is required for mounting. This provides a simple electrical and mechanical connection, cutting time and costs on wiring and fitting.

Moeller has dubbed these Motor Starters “Clever Solutions for Greater Efficiency” as part of their new product line.
